Obituary for Edward Cybulski
Edward Cybulski, 84, of Ottawa passed away on November 5th in St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Services will be held on Monday, November 9th at 12:00 Noon with Rabbi Stephen Peskind officiating in Burgess Funeral Home in Utica. Burial will be immediately following at Bethel Jewish Cemetery in Ottawa.
He was the beloved husband of Shirley Cybulski, nee Jacobson, loving father of Michael (Christine) Cybulski of Flossmoor and the late Marla Cybulski: cherished grandfather of Leah (Adam) Krause; adoring great-grandfather of Lyric Krause; brother of the late Sam (May) Cybulski. Was a lifelong resident of the Illinois Valley, graduating from Utica grade school, LaSalle Peru High School and L-P-O Junior College. He was employed for 42 years at the Libby-Owens-Ford (Pikington) Company. Ed was fondly known by his work colleagues as "Abbie". Ed enlisted in the U.S.Navy during the Korean conflict, and was a member of the Ottawa American Legion Post and Temple B'nai Moshe of LaSalle.
