VALLEY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL, Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 24th, in Utica Baptist Church with Pastor Lloyd Johnson officiating. Burial in Oakhill Cemetery in Utica Visitation will be on Thursday 4:00 - 7:00 PM. in Burgess Funeral Home in Utica and Friday 9:00 - 10:00 AM. at UTICA BAPTIST CHURCH. . Born in Ottawa, IL. on May 27, 1933, to Elmore and Helen (Fowlie) Irwin. Worked at Libby Owens Ford Glass Company over 30 years and farmed til 3 years ago Member of Utica Baptist Church where he served as Trustee, LaSalle County Farm Bureau, Aeronautical Model Airplane Association, He enjoyed reading, building model and radio controlled airplanes and farming the family farm Graduated from Ottawa High School Married Verna Kalisiak on August 2, 2003 in Ottawa Survivors Wife Verna of Ottawa 2 Sisters, Gladys Munks of Harvard., Barbara Thompson of Naperville. Son-in-Law Jim St. John of Lake of the Hills Grandchildren Jim St. John Jr. of Las Vegas, Scott (Jill) St. John of Crystal Lake, Doug (Michelle) St. John of Marengo, Great Grandchildren Abby and Cayden St. John of Marengo Preceded in death by parents 1 Daughter Pamela St. John, 2 Brothers Elmore Lewis Irwin Jr. and Charles A Irwin Memorials may be directed to the Utica Baptist Church
