Deborah Kay Dewey 62 was taken far too soon from her family and friends on September 12, 2016.
A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on Sunday October 2, from 2 to 5 at Senica’s Oak Ridge, 658 East US Highway 6 La Salle IL
She was born February 13, 1954 in La Salle to William Thomas and Frances (Supan) Edgcomb
She worked at Riverfront Machinery in Spring Valley
Debbie was the baby girl in a family of 14 children. She was known by her family and friends as a practical joker with a heart of gold. She treasured spending time with her son, family, and friends. She was a tomboy at heart. She loved her sweatpants and blue jeans, watching football, and all things Harley Davidson.
Debbie is survived by her son Christopher Dewey of La Salle, her brothers; Jack (Patricia) Edgcomb and Gary (Karen) Edgcomb both of La Salle, her sisters’ Shirley (Jerry) Soens of La Salle and Linda (Jerry) Leslie of Earlville, several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by; her parents, her sister Betty Buccafurri, and seven brothers; William, Kenneth, Dale, David, Donald, Robert, and Michael Edgcomb.
