David Patarozzi, 68, of Chicago, IL. passed away Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012 In Chicago, , IL.. His body was donated to science and private burial will be at a later date Born in Spring Valley, on January 20, 1944, to Victor P and Sylvia (Konczak) Patarozzi. Attended Immaculate Conception Grade School in Spring Valley Attended Hall High School and was a member of the National Honor Society and Pep Club, also played foorball, basketball, and track for 2 years. Was Class President for the class of 1962. Spent 2 Years at Illinois State University Served in U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a Pvt 1st Class Born and raised in Spring Valley and then he resided for 2 years with family after the war and then moved to Chicago. Was a office worker for Western Rust Proof in Chicago Survivors 1 Daughter, Shelia (Alex) Dean of Chicago. 1 Sister, Linda (Bill) Burris of Peru. 1 Brother, Robert (Sue) Patarozzi of Spring Valley. 2 Grandchildren Aaron and Joshua Duke of Chicago 1 Great Grand Daughter Savana Duke of Chicago Caretaker - Kathy Laughary of Chicago 3 Nieces and 5 Nephews Preceded in death by Grandparents Joseph & Linda Patarozzi of Spring Valley and Joseph & Sophia Konczak of LaSalle, and Parents Burgess Funeral Home LaSalle is assisting the family.
