Darlene Kolodziej 92, of LaSalle died at 9:50 am Thursday May 26, 2016 in I.V.C.H . Visitation will be held on Thursday June 2, 2016 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the Burgess Funeral Home LaSalle additional visitation will be held on Friday June 3, 2016 in St Hyacinth's Church from 9:00 - 10:00 am with a 10:00 am funeral Mass in the church. Burial will be in St. Hyacinth's cemetery. She was born on January 27, 1924 in LaSalle to Joseph and Evelyn (Hillman) Kinczewski. She worked at the LaSalle National Bank and also Colonial bank as a teller for over 35 years. She married Walter Kolodziej on June 6, 1953 in St Joseph's church in LaSalle. She was a member of St. Hyacinth's church, St. Hyacinth' Mothers club, 4-H Leader in Dimmick, St. Bede's Mothers club, and the Altar and Rosary Society. She is survived by 1 daughter - Mary Kay (James) Ghiglieri of Toluca, 2 Sons - Joseph (Lori) Kolodziej of LaSalle, and John (Jill) Kolodziej of Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin . 10 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2006, 1 Son and 1 Daughter in infancy, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister.
