Obituary for Constance "Connie" Bromer
Constance (Connie) Bromer nee Pyszka, formerly of La Salle, Illinois, died peacefully surrounded by family and Felician Sisters on January 10, 2019, at Manor Court in Peru, Illinois.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 14th at 11:00 AM in St. Hyacinth Church with Rev. Paul Carlson celebrating the Mass of the Resurrection and Rev. Paul Meismer will be the homilist. Interment will be private.
Visitation will be in the Church from 9:00 AM until the time of services on Monday.

Connie was born in La Salle on July 22, 1932, to Stanley and Louise (Studzinski) Pyszka. She married Eugene Bromer on October 13, 1951, in St. Hyacinth Church in La Salle.
Connie was a lifelong member of St. Hyacinth Parish where she was a choir member for over 30 years, an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Mothers Club. For many years she volunteered her services to her parish by helping to clean the church and by working outside by the grotto of the Blessed Mother. Connie was employed at the News Tribune for more than 30 years until her retirement. An avid sports fan, she enjoyed watching Notre Dame, Bulls, Bears, and White Sox games.
For the last 5 years Connie resided at Manor Court in Peru, Illinois, where she was involved in the many daily activities there. She also served as Vice-President of the Residents Council and lead the Rosary on Sundays.
Connie is survived by her son Richard (Linda) of Wheeling, Illinois, daughter Sister Mary Beth, CSSF, of Chicago, granddaughter Mallorie and grandson Colin. She is also survived by her sister Loraine Lavery of Naperville, Illinois, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, her parents, her brother Raymond Pyszka and her two sisters Veronica (Babe) Sheedy and Emily Kaufman.
