Clinton David Lampe Clinton David Lampe 22 passed away Tuesday, August 12, at 5:43 AM in OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 16 at 1:00 PM in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle. Reverend Colleen Lawrence will officiate. A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the Funeral Home. He was born in Spring Valley on February 8, 1992 to David and Diane (Burkart) Lampe of LaSalle. Clinton lit up every room with his charming smile and sense of humor. He loved going to the cabin fishing and spending time with his family. He was always looking for a new pet to add to his personal zoo. He was an accomplished guitarist and loved nothing better than to jam on his Eddie Van Halen Wolfgang guitar. He was the 2010 overall Grand Champion in the Illinois State Guitar League competition. Most of all Clinton loved sharing his life with his girlfriend Chelby Thompson. He graduated from LaSalle-Peru Township High School in 2010, while there, he was President of FFA, and attended Illinois Valley Community College. He was accepted at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, IL and was looking forward to entering the Study of Mortuary Science to become a Funeral Director / Embalmer. He is survived by his parents, Maternal Grandmother Betty Burkart of Peru, Paternal Grandfather Vincent Stalsis of Peru, The love of his life; Chelby Thompson of Galesburg, Uncles and Aunts; Kelly Lampe of Morton, James (Cheryl) Zera of Peru, Sheryl Christenson of Ladd, Jeanette Burkart of Decatur, Paula (Robert) Latty of LaSalle, David (Laura) Burkart of Shreveport, LA, Kathryn (James) Hoelter of Baraboo, WI, and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents; Franklin Roy Lampe and Shirley (Lampe) Stalsis, and Maternal Grandfather Norbert Burkart.
