Cathy M. (Day-Martin) Bennett 54 of LaSalle passed away on July 10, 2012 following a cronic illness at IL Valley Comm Hospital. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday July 12, 2012 at 7:00pm in the Burgess Funeral Home in Utica. Pastor Scott Fulkerson officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday July 12, 2012 from 5:00-7:00pm in the Funeral Home. Cathy was born on 11/15/1957 in Joiliet, IL to Harry and Virginia (Carson) Day. She married Ron Martin March 3, 1975. They were married twenty five years and had two children. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, who lived selflessly for friends and family. Survivors: 2 Sons Mickey (Christy) Martin of La Salle Ron Jr (Teri) Martin of Ottawa 5 Grandchildren 5 Brothers: Billy Day of Joliet Denny (Hilda) Day of Wilmington Kevin (Penny) Day of La Grange Ron (Mary) Day of Olgesby Rusty Day of La Salle 1 Sister: Patricia Drennan of Standard Proceeded in Death: Parents, Stepfather, and Harry Bennett whom she remarried in 2008
