Mrs. Caroline R Baird, 96, of La Salle, IL., passed away at 10:21 AM, Sunday, October 9th, 2011 at Heritage Manor in LaSalle Funeral Mass will be held at ST. PATRICKS CHURCH, LASALLE, IL., at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12th, with Rev. Robert Rayson officiating. Burial at St. Vincent\'s Cemtery Visitation will be held on Wednesday 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle Caroline was born in LaSalle, IL. on March 24, 1915, the daughter of the late Adam and Monica (Hess) Kotowski. Married Howard (Red) Baird in October, 1936 at St. Hyacinth Church Hobbies she enjoyed crafts, knitting and a love of cats Member of St. Patrick\'s church, the Mother\'s Club of St. Hyacinth and Harmonia Club. Ran Concession stand at Matthieson Park in late 70\'s and was famous for BBQ sandwiches Survivors: 2 Daughters, Susan (James) Burkiewicz of Peru.
