Benjamin D. Wallace 70 of La Salle passed Feb 15 at 11:24AM in St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. A Funeral service will be Monday Feb 19 at 7 in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle. The Most Reverend Father Paul Carlson Pastor of La Salle Catholic Churches will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be in the funeral home Monday 5 until the time of services.
He was born in Bonne Terre Missouri on July 22, 1947 to Richard and Stella (Thomure) Wallace.
He married Patricia Edgcomb in Holy Rosary Church in la Salle on June 6, 1982.
For several years he was a glass worker employed by Libby Owens in Ottawa.
He was a member of the Ottawa Glass Union in Ottawa #19.
He is survived by;
His wife
1 Son David Wallace of La Salle,
2 Daughters, Kaitlyn Wallace and her fiancée (Bradley Pribe),
Elizabeth Wallace of la Salle.
2 Brothers; Jerry (Marilyn) Wallace of Ottawa, David (Jean) Wallace of Ottawa
1 Sister; Anita Wallace of Ottawa, and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters
