Obituary for Arlene Pusser

Arlene Pusser 88 of Peru, formally of LaSalle passed away peacefully on Sunday June 2nd at Goldwater Care in Spring Valley. Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial mass will be Tuesday June 11th at 10 at St. Hyacinth Church in LaSalle. Most Reverend Paul Carlson pastor of Holy Family Parish in Oglesby will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Hyacinth Cemetery in LaSalle. A memorial visitation will be in church on Tuesday from 9 until the time of services. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is handling the arrangements.

She was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in LaSalle on September 5, 1935 to Stanley and Isabelle (Panneck) Pelszynski.

She was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. Throughout the years she loved taking care of her children. She cherished spending time with her family and friends. She loved cooking for family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting a variety of different items. Her brother introduced her to slots in which she enjoyed to do periodically.

She is survived by her sons: John Hall of LaSalle, Ron Pusser of Mississippi, and Todd Pusser of Peru.

three daughters; Debra (Dennis) Bridgeforth of Newburn NC., Lisa Kupperschmidt of Oglesby, and Tammi (Darrell) Sterling of LaSalle.

eighteen grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.

two brothers: Ron Pelszynski of Peru, Jack Pelszynski of FL.

Many nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by: her son Jerry Jr. (1976), granddaughter, Krystal Miller (1985), great- grandchildren: Rocky William Mantooth (2021) and Kenzleigh Gerace (2020).
