In memory of a loving man Anthony N 'Smitty' Smith 71 of LaSalle passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:30PM in his home Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00PM in Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle Visitation will be held from 11:00AM to the time of service Burial at a later date Born on February 22, 1943 in Ottawa to Alvin 'Jack' and Donna (Kiest) Smith Married Mary Raines on July 29, 1969 in Sheridan Served in the US Army and Marines from 1960 to 1971 Worked as a truck driver and machinist for Aurora Pump for many years Survivors Wife Mary of LaSalle 2 Daughters Monica K (Rick) Gott of LaMoille Wanda (Tony) Bunzell of Utica 3 Sons William Smith of Earlville Edward (Jennifer) Smith of Ottawa Anthony Smith Jr. of Toluca 1 Sister Edie (Robert) 2 Brothers Richard of Streator Ronald (Sara) of Seneca 13 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by Parents and 2 Grandsons Daniel and Gregory Smith Military services will be conducted by the Ottawa American Legion Online condolences may be viewed and expressed at www.burgessfh.com
