Obituary for Annarita Bennett
Annarita Bennett 87 of Utica passed away peacefully July 19 at 5:12 AM at her residence with her family at her side. A funeral mass will be Friday July 23 at 10:00AM in St. Mary’s Church in Utica. Reverend Michael Driscoll Pastor of St. Mary’s will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Utica. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 PM in the Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle. A rosary will be recited at 3:45. Additional visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 until the time of services.
She was born on February 5, 1934 in LaSalle to Andrew and Mary Louise (Flynn) Stachowiak.
She married Domenic Cadegiani in 1954 until his passing in 1978. In 1980 she married Don Bennett until his passing in 1994.
She cherished her time with family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She belonged to St. Mary’s Altar and Rosary Society. She volunteered with the Red Cross blood mobile. She enjoyed being with the Curves Girls, The North End Friends, The Friday Night Girls, and the Tai Chi Class.
She is survived by:
6 Children: Mary Cadegiani, Nick (Cindy) Cadegiani, Joe Cadegiani, Andy (Annika) Cadegiani, Bonnie (Allan) Campbell, and Dee (Lori) Bennett.
9 Grandchildren: Gina (Jay) Jones, Kristi and Kyle Cadegiani, and Mia (Matt) Kostellic, Nora, Emma, Mary Kate Grusk, Matt (Aubree) Bennett, and Kelsey (Phil) Strever.
8 Great Grandchildren: Morgan, Celeste, Marissa, JadeClover, Carter, Bailey, Bennett, and Lucas.
1 Brother: Jerry (Deb) Stachowiak.
