Obituary for Gerald "Jerry" Pyszka
Gerald “Jerry” Pyszka 69 died unexpectedly May 11 at 8:15AM in his residence. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be Wednesday May 17 at 11 in the Burgess Funeral Home in La Salle. Fr. Jacob Valle Parochial Vicar of La Salle Catholic Parishes will officiate. Burial will follow in Peru City Cemetery. A memorial visitation will be May 11 in the funeral home from 9 until the time of services.
Jerry was born on January 2, 1948 in Peru to Edward and Mildred (Halstedt) Pyszka.
He was employed by LTV Steel in Hennepin IL for 34 years. During his time with them he worked in several departments and was a foreman.
He is survived by:
2 Sons: Steve Pyszka of La Salle, and David Pyszka of Seattle Washington.
1 Daughter: Gail (Kevin) Miller of Tallahassee Florida
1 Brother: Edward (Sylvia) Pyszka Jr of Pittsburg Pennsylvania
7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
He is preceded in death by:
